About The Position

Foresight is a cutting-edge startup specializing in advanced sensor technology for automotive applications. We are developing a state-of-the-art stereoscopic sensor system that utilizes vision and LWIR (Long-Wave Infrared) cameras to generate 3D representations of vehicle surroundings. Our innovative technology outputs high-precision point clouds and performs object classification, contributing to safer and smarter vehicle systems.

Requirements


We are looking for a talented and driven System Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our team to define system requirements (SRS - System Requirements Specifications) and contribute to the design and implementation of system solutions for our stereoscopic sensor system. This role includes leading the system development process, ensuring the successful development and deployment of our technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to define detailed System Requirements Specifications (SRS) for the stereoscopic sensor system, ensuring they address functionality, performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Develop solutions that integrate vision and LWIR cameras, ensuring they meet our design specifications for performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., automotive safety standards).
  • Integrate and test system components, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to seamlessly integrate system components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, optimizing performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in sensor technology, vision systems, and LWIR imaging.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, including detailed design specifications, PDR (Preliminary Design Review) documents, CDR (Critical Design Review) documents, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. (Must)
  • Proven experience in multidisciplinary system integration, preferably in the field of sensor technology or imaging systems.
  • Strong understanding of vision systems, LWIR cameras, and 3D representation techniques.
  • Experience with prototyping and testing system components.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Managerial experience of at least 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automotive sensor systems and point cloud generation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and object classification algorithms.
